Lessons learned from the last application round
EU funds and national funds have been set up to enhance the economic ability and readiness for companies to put GHG projects into action. For example the Innovation Fund (IF) provides approx. EUR 10 billion from 2020 to 2030 for projects or technologies that will bring down GHG emissions.
The competition to get grants is extremely high so due diligence of the GHG statement and the financial statement will enhance the opportunity for success.
Bureau Veritas has carried out verifications and due diligence of 4 projects for the EU's Innovation Fund in 2022. On December 9th we will host a webinar and as a participant you will hear about the lessons learned from applicants and consultant.
